Ingredients
  

Meatballs:

  • 1 pound of turkey meat
  • 1 pound of Italian sausage
  • Shredded mozzarella, one cup
  • one third cup parmesan(grated/shredded)
  • ONE zucchini, ONE cup(shredded)
  • 1 egg
  • Two teaspoons of chopped, dried onions
  • two teaspoons of minced, dried garlic
  • dried basil, two tablespoons
  • 1 salt shakerful

Ingredients for a casserole:

  • 1 cup of sauce for pasta
  • shredded cheese, 8 oz.

Instructions
 

  • Set the oven to 400 degrees. Spray a casserole dish(cooking spray).
  • Combine all the ingredients for the meatballs. Create roughly 24 meatballs, then place them in the casserole.
  • Bake the meatballs for THIRTY minutes, or until they are thoroughly cooked. Drain the cooking liquid slowly from the casserole dish.
  • Add cheese and sauce on top. Bake for a further 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  • Optional: To toast the cheese at the end, I broiled it for three to four minutes. If you put the cheese under the broiler, be careful since it might burn rapidly.
