INGREDIENTS:

  • Grated cheese (Gruyere), 4 oz
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • An egg, large
  • Large onion (white), 1
  • Three-fourth tsp of peppercorn (powdered)
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tsp of powdered onion
  • Thyme leaves (fresh), 1 tsp
  • 0.5 cup of flour (almond)
  • Beef (ground), 2 pounds

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Place a big skillet on the little flame.
  2. Include the butter in it.
  3. Fry the slices of onion and cover them in oil.
  4. Include the salt & stir in a constant manner.
  5. Fry them till they are tender & crispy golden brown.
  6. Include the fresh leaves of thyme & fry for an extra minute.
  7. Then put the skillet down from the stove.
  8. Switch the oven on & heat it empty at 350 degrees F.
  9. Spread the parchment paper on a large baking sheet (rimmed).
  10. Place a big bowl in your working place.
  11. Include meat (ground), almond flour, salt, powdered onion & peppercorns.
  12. Then include eggs & 1/2 of the fried onions.
  13. Combine all the things very well using your hands.
  14. Move the batter to the baking dish.
  15. Give your batter the shape of the loaf.
  16. Insert in the oven (heated) for 40/50 mins.
  17. When the meat thermometer shows 160 degrees F, that means your dish is ready.
  18. Now spread the cheese (shredded) & remaining fried onion on top.
  19. Return to keep it in the warm (not running) oven to melt & mix everything.
  20. Take out after 5 minutes, & your meatloaf is ready.
