Let’s dive into the recipe!

Recipe: Keto Garlic Knots

Ingredients:

For the Dough:
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

For the Dough:
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until the cheeses are fully melted and well combined.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt.
  4. Add the melted cheese mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until you have a dough-like consistency.
  5. Beat the eggs in a small bowl and then mix them into the dough until fully incorporated.
Shaping and Baking:
  1. Divide the dough into 12 equal portions.
  2. Roll each portion into a long rope, about 6-8 inches (15-20 cm) in length, and tie it into a knot. Place the knots on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the knots are golden brown and cooked through.
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
  1. While the knots are baking, prepare the garlic butter sauce. In a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook over low heat for 1-2 minutes, or until the garlic becomes fragrant. Be careful not to let it brown.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the chopped fresh parsley (if using) and a pinch of salt.
Assembly:
  1. Once the knots are out of the oven, immediately brush them generously with the garlic butter sauce. Make sure to coat each knot thoroughly.
  2. Serve your Keto Garlic Knots warm and enjoy!
