INGREDIENTS:

CAKE:

  • Essence of vanilla, one tsp
  • 3 cups of almond flour
  • Two-thirds cup of water
  • 2/3 cup of keto swerve brown
  • Half a cup of butter
  • Protein powder(egg/whey protein flavored), 1/3rd cup
  • 3 eggs, large
  • A tablespoon of baking powder
  • Half tsp of salt.

PRALINE:

  • One cup of pecans
  • One-fourth cup of keto sweetener(swerve brown)
  • 1/4 tsp of vanilla essence
  • Butter, two tbsp
  • One-fourth tsp of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of cream

GLAZE OF CARAMEL:

  • 1.25 cups of swerve (powdered)
  • Six tbsp of butter
  • 0.5 tsp of vanilla essence
  • Swerve brown, 1/4th cup.
  • 1/3rd cup of whipping cream (heavy)
  • Allulose, quarter cup

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Cover a tray/cookie sheet with parchment.
  2. Place a normal-sized saucepan over normal flame on the stove.
  3. Include the butter, Swerve brown, & cream to combine & boil.
  4. Lower the flame once, it gets boil & cook while stirring.
  5. After some 3/4 mins, include the essence of vanilla, salt, & chopped pecans.
  6. Mix thoroughly, then lay it out on the parchment.
  7. Once it becomes hardened on cooling, break it into the pieces of required size.

CAKE MAKING:

  1. Grab a jelly roll pan & apply oil to all its sides and the bottom.
  2. Heat the empty oven to 325 degrees F.
  3. Place a big vessel on your working shelf & gather all the other items.
  4. Include all the solid/dry items in that vessel & mix them well.
  5. Now pick a big vessel & include the water, eggs, butter(melted), & vanilla essence.
  6. Combine all the liquid items as well.
  7. Now shift the mix of dry items to the big vessel of liquid items.
  8. Fold with gentle hands with the spatula/whisk to have the finest batter.
  9. Shift the batter to the pan that you have prepared & then shift the pan to the oven(heated).
  10. Bake till your cake is not wet from the center anymore (check by inserting the toothpick).
  11. It will hardly take 20 or 22 mins, then take the pan out of the oven after that.

GLAZE OF CARAMEL:

  1. Place the normal-sized saucepan over a standard stovetop flame.
  2. Include the butter & sweeteners in it and combine them.
  3. As the boil comes, lower the flame & cook while whisking at intervals.
  4. After some 3/4 mins, remove the saucepan from the stove while turning the flame off.
  5. Mix the essence of vanilla & cream into it & let the mixture rest for around 0.25 hours.
  6. After that include the sweetener(powdered) in it & mix it well.
  7. Till now the cake has been cooled down.
  8. Spread the glaze of caramel on the surface of the cake.
  9. Now sprinkle the crumbles of praline at the top.
  10. Your Keto Praline Sheet Cake is ready.

TIPS:

  • We recommend that you use the sweeteners that should not be based on the allulose. otherwise, you will end up with soft praline. We want the crunchy praline thus, erythritol-based brown keto sweetener works best.
  • If you alter the size of the pan, proceed with caution. The big-sized pan will give you a thinner cake & thus, the baking time cuts short. On the other hand, a small-sized pan with a thicker cake will take more baking time.
  • Distribute the bits of crunchy praline in an even manner. This way each slice will get its fair share.
