Low Carb Philly Cheesesteak Lasagna

In our home, this has become a favorite right now. Low Carb Philly Cheesesteak Lasagna is incredibly easy, quick, and yummy to make.

I recently requested my readers to choose the recipe for this year. A HUGE reaction was given. Many of you requested lasagna recipes, while others requested Philly cheesesteak dishes and still others requested more slow cooker meals. This year, I’ll do my absolute best to respond to as many requests as I can (you can still submit one here! ), but for this article, I’m going to combine the lasagna and Philly cheesesteak recipes and give my recipe for handmade Philly Cheesesteak Lasagna.

How To Make

Cook onions in a medium-low oven for about 7 minutes, stirring regularly, until they are well browned and caramelized. Add mushrooms and peppers. Stirring to slightly cook (you want it tender but not fully cooked)
Put garlic powder, salt, pepper, and beef. Move about. In a bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, and melted butter. A mixture should be added to the beef.
Olive oil should be lightly brushed into a casserole dish. Lay down a layer of @cutdacarb bread, top with mozzarella and mayo, then season with black pepper.
For FIFTEEN to TWENTY minutes, bake at 400°F. until the cheese is bubbling, broil the top (about 3-4mins)

You can buy every piece of cheese used in this lasagna from your neighbourhood grocery shop. I purchased all of my cheeses at the deli section of my neighbourhood Krogers. However, other retailers including Safeway, Wincos, and others also carry them.

This dish can look a little frightening, but it’s really fairly simple. If anything, it takes time, but it’s worth every second.
