This delicious keto-friendly appetizer or snack is low-carb Keto Cheese Curds. Recipe without gluten.
Place the cheese curds in one of the three bowls that have been set out. Mix the almond flour, Parmesan, and black pepper in the second bowl. Add the beaten egg to the last bowl.
Each curd should be fully coated with the egg before being dipped into the dry mixture. Repeat with the remainder of the curds, then place on a dish. This stage can be prepared in advance and kept in the refrigerator.
Working in batches, cook the cheese curds in the hot oil in the bottom of a sizable nonstick skillet. The heat time and number of times they need to be turned over will vary depending on the size and form of the curds. When you notice cheese beginning to drip, either flip the pieces over or take them out of the pan and put it in a plate.
Serve the cheese curds heated with low-carb ketchup in a plate after allowing them to slightly cool.
