Keto Patty Melt
Yields1 Serving
 1 serving 90-second bread
 ½ tsp caraway seeds
 ¼ large onion
 2.50 ounces sliced mushrooms
 1 tsp butter
  lb ground beef 80/20 or 85/15
 1.50 slices Swiss cheese
 ½ tbsp butter
 1 tbsp mayonnaise
 1 tsp sugar-free ketchup
 ½ tsp dill pickle relish

Make your preferred 90-second bread according to the directions, but don't forget to include the caraway seeds before placing it in the microwave. Set apart for cooling.

If you haven't already, slice and wash your mushrooms. Cook the mushrooms in a nonstick skillet with a teaspoon of butter over medium heat until they are browned and have released their moisture. Set them aside after placing them in a small bowl.

Make your burger patties while the mushrooms are cooking, pressing them as flat as you can. Slice(French style) your onion .  9over medium-high heat)Put your patty in the same skillet , season with salt and pepper. The burger patty is surrounded by a layer of onions. The burgers should be cooked through after 6 minutes on each side. To prevent them from charring while the burger cooks, stir the onions.

Make two equal half of your bread by slicing it lengthwise. One slice should have a half-slice of cheese on it before a burger patty is placed on top. On the opposite half, spread a whole piece of cheese and add the onions and mushrooms. Grill the sandwich for about THREE minutes on each side until the bread is golden brown/cheese has melted. Melt 1/2 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-low heat.

In a little ramekin, combine the dill pickle relish, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Use the dressing as a dipping sauce and cut the burger in half on the diagonal to serve.
