These KETO AIR FRYER BRATS are something you can literally have on the table in minutes when you just want an easy and tasty low-carb dinner. And they were absolutely delicious!

When they’re cooking dinner, lately I am realizing more and more that there are a huge number of people in the world who just want EASY! This new recipe for Air Fryer Brats is going to be a complete winner for everyone who likes brats and enjoys easy recipes! Of course it’s definitely not hard cooking bratwurst on the grill or even in a frying pan. But we both agreed that the Air Fryer cooking infused the brats with so much flavor after I got intrigued with the idea of cooking brats in the Air Fryer and tried it out with my great assistant and niece. And you don’t really even need to watch them with the Air Fryer the brats are done in less than TEN minutes, although we did turn ours once!

WHAT INGREDIENTS DO YOU NEED FOR THIS RECIPE?

Bratwurst is all you need for this recipe, and I think this might be the first one-ingredient recipe! There are many good brands but we used original Johnsonville Brats. If you want them to be gluten-free, be sure not to use beer brats. If that appeals to you more the recipe would work fine with turkey brats/lower-fat types of uncooked sausage.

WHAT AIR FRYER DID I USE?

This air fryer has a larger basket, which to do the whole package of five brats (or even a few more) was big enough, but you might not be able to fit that many if your Air Fryer has a smaller basket.

INGREDIENTS

  • FIVE uncooked bratwurst

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. While you preheat the Air Fryer if needed, let the bratwurst come to room temperature.
  2. Set Air Fryer to 375F.
  3. So they’re not touching each other, arrange brats on Air Fryer tray.
  4. Cook FIVE minutes.
  5. Then turn each one over and depending on how well-done you prefer your brats, cook 3-5 minutes longer.
  6. To get them more evenly browned, the turning is probably optional.
  7. With mustard of course, serve hot!

NOTES

South Beach Diet / Low-Glycemic Diet / Low-Carb Diet Suggestions:

For any low-carb or Keto diet, Bratwurst cooked using this method is a dish. For the original South Beach Diet, brats are too high in fat to be approved, but using this method, you could cook turkey brats or other lower-carb sausage.
