Keto Krispy Kreme Donut

Living a keto lifestyle and Having KETO KRISPY KREME DONUTS are no longer mutually exclusive, so bake these very addictive donuts with a sugary, crunchy exterior you’ll want to have again and again without all the guilt!

Ingredients

Donut Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour
  • 6 tablespoons almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon xanthan gum
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons monk fruit sweetener
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil melted
  • Two eggs

Glaze Ingredients

  • ¼ cup monk fruit sweetener (Prefer Lakanto-Golden)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil

Instructions

For the Donuts

  1. To 350℉, preheat the oven and grease a donut pan. Put it aside.
  2. Take a bowl and mix all dry ingredients in it with a whisk.
  3. Take another bowl(large) and whisk the oil and eggs. Then to the wet, add the dry ingredients and whisk until it becomes a thick, sticky dough.
  4. Next, into a piping bag, spoon the dough to pipe the dough into the greased donut pan.
  5. Bake for Twenty minutes, then take it out from oven and let it cool.

For the Glaze

  1. Take a saucepan(shallow) and combine all ingredients and whisk together.
  2. For five minutes, let cook on medium heat while whisking constantly.

Assemble

  1. Drop each donut in a pan of hot glaze once they are slightly cooled, and coat both sides completely.
  2. Repeat until all donuts are coated
  3. Let cool on a plate. The glaze create a crunchy exterior and will harden a bit.
  4. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Substitutes: Monk Fruit sweetener(for any granulated sweetener)
  • Xanthan Gum can be omitted
  • Coconut Oil subbed for any oil
  • (in this recipe) Eggs cannot be substituted
