CAN YOU FREEZE IT?

For 2 – 3 months, yes, Big Mac Casserole can be frozen. To reheat, for 30 – 45 minutes, bake in the oven at 350 degrees or for about 3 minutes, microwave individual portion sizes.

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE CASSEROLE

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dill pickle relish
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheese, divided

BIG MAC SAUCE

  • 1/2 cup mayonaisse
  • 3 tablespoons dill pickle relish
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

INSTRUCTIONS

FOR THE CASSEROLE

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. To a skillet, add the ground beef over medium-high heat. With seasoning salt, garlic powder, and salt and pepper, season it evenly. Add the chopped garlic and chopped onion.
  3. By breaking it up, begin to brown the meat and crumbling as you cook.
  4. Drain the meat, once the meat is browned all the way through and over medium heat, return it to the skillet.
  5. To the skillet, add the Worcestershire sauce, cream cheese, and dill pickle relish with the ground beef. Until it gets heated through, mix everything together.
  6. From the heat, remove the ground beef mixture, and spread into a greased baking dish(9×13).
  7. Combine the 1 cup of the shredded cheese, heavy cream, and eggs in a medium bowl. Wisk together, and then over the ground beef mixture, pour evenly.
  8. With the remaining cup of cheese, evenly top the casserole.
  9. In the oven, place the casserole and until the cheese is melted, bake for TWENTY minutes.
  10. Prior to serving, top with Big Mac Sauce.

BIG MAC SAUCE RECIPE

  1. To a small bowl, add all of the Big Mac Sauce ingredients and mix together. Until everything is well combined, be sure to mix.
