KETO BAKED PICKLE CHIPS. To make these low carb baked pickles, just 3 ingredients are used . They are a great appetiser or snack and very easy to make. It will be enjoyed by the whole family including the kids.
For fried and baked pickles, breadcrumbs are often used but to make this dish low carb and gluten free. I used a mix of almond flour and Parmesan cheese. To this mixture, you could add more spices and herbs , but I kept mine plain. I think with chilli powder, I would enjoy a batch would be tasty.
For the coating to stick, the pickle slices are moist enough to dip into a coating. Dip the pickles into beaten egg then dip them into the coating a couple of times if you wanted an extra layer of coating.
KETO OVEN FRIED PICKLES
I used pickle slices but to try this again with pickle spears, am sorely tempted . For dipping, they would be good or even in place of fries. Now that’s a delicious idea!
In an air fryer, you can also make this pickles.
You could try a mayonnaise or creamy cheese dip to serve with the baked pickles. I had mine with a dash of hot sauce, with some low carb mayonnaise . Since my homegrown dill is still tiny seedlings, I had to reach for the hot sauce instead but a creamy dill sauce would be a good choice.
