INGREDIENTS:

WHITE MISO:

  • Add the white miso to include the real savory and light umami taste in the dish. Add some warm broth, then add it to the soup so it doesn’t form lumps.

GARLIC:

  • Add the garlic to the soup to include the aroma, and it also pairs nicely with the chicken broth and miso.

CARROTS:

  • Make the carrot slices thin to include in this miso soup, so they cook evenly and get tender easily.

BABY SPINACH:

  5. Lower the flame & leave it to get simmer for 15 minutes till the carrots get soft.
  6. Add the chicken shreds to the soup and let it simmer for five more minutes till heated through.
  7. Put the miso in a small vessel and add the ½ cup broth to it and whisk to make it smooth.
  8. Add the miso mixture to the soup and mix till smooth, and don’t boil the soup much after adding it.
  9. Include the baby spinach and cook it for one to two minutes till it wilts.
  10. Add the soup to the vessel and sprinkle the scallion slices on top, and serve the soup.
