How To Make Keto Cheese Crisps

In most grocery stores, buy pre-sliced cheese. W perfer Target’s brand of cheddar cheese. When trying a cheese brand for the first time, make sure to do a test-bake on one – even when it’s shredded cheese. You’ll find each brand bake up differently and may be different or in a different amount of time.

Sugar free barbecue sauce has artificial sweeteners. So you’ll want to find a sub that is truly sweetener-free, if you are strict keto.

We Prefer G Hughes brand of sugar-free barbeque sauce. On each piece of cheese, just brush a liberal layer of the sauce. On a silicone mat, layer the slices but parchment paper will work well too. I do love silicone mats though and use them for almost everything. And without my Nordic Ware pans, I can’t live – they are solid and when they heat up in the oven, they don’t warp.

Ingredients

2 oz pre-sliced cheddar cheese
2 tbs sugar free barbecue sauce

Instructions

On a baking sheet, place cheese slices. Either use parchment paper or on a silicone baking mat, place them.

About 1.5 inch square should be slices. With about an inch or more between them, place them on the sheet pan.
On each slice, liberally spread barbecue sauce.
For 9-12 minutes, bake at 400 degrees. As different cheese brands will cook differently so check your cheeses.
