INGREDIENTS:

CARAMEL LAYER:
One-fourth cup of peanuts, 36 g
56 grams of butter (salted), 4 tbsp
Essence of vanilla, one tsp
120 ml of cream (heavy/double), 1/2 cup
Keto sweetener, three tbsp

NOUGAT LAYER:
Essence of vanilla, one tsp
1 cup of almond flour
Keto sweetener, 2/3 tablespoons
0.5 cup of cream (heavy/double)

COATING:

A tablespoon of coconut oil/ 0.tbsp of cream
100 g of dark chocolate

INSTRUCTIONS:

LAYER OF NOUGAT:

  1. Pick a little container & cover it using the parchment.
  2. Grab a normal-sized vessel & gather all the items on the counter.
  3. Include the flour (almond), keto sweetener, essence of vanilla, & heavy cream in it.
  4. Mix all of them well to combine them.
  5. Shift that mix in the container, level it & press it with the spatula/spoon back.

LAYER OF CARAMEL:

  1. Place a saucepan on the stove over a normal flame.
  2. Include the butter in it & allow it to melt.
  3. Now, include the sweetener & move it using a spoon in a continuous way.
  4. Wait till the sweetener melts in the butter & they start to brown.
  5. At this point, include vanilla essence & cream and continue stirring.
  6. As the boil comes, lower the flame & cook it till it takes a nice golden caramel color.
  7. When your sauce thickens & reduces, it takes over the shiny caramel color.
  8. Spread the caramel sauce over the layer of nougat.
  9. Sprinkle the salted peanuts over the whole surface & press them in the caramel.
  10. Place the container in the freezer to let the bars set.
  11. Shift the container to the counter once more as they becomes firm in the freezer.
  12. Cut the 6 large bars from it & shift the container once more to the freezer.

COATING OF CHOCOLATE

  1. Prepare a water bath & melt the dark chocolate along with the oil of coconut.
  2. As it melts, put the container of melted chocolate on your shelf & give it a good mix.
  3. Start coating the bars in the melted chocolate as the chocolate cools down a little.
  4. Place the coated bars on a parchment-covered tray & shift the tray to the fridge/freezer.
  5. Your keto snicker bars are ready once, the chocolate hardens.

TIPS:

For easy dipping, use the wide & shallow container to melt the chocolate in.

Always go for a good brand of chocolate. It will result in good & even coating.

If you want to increase the amount of crunch in your bars, we recommend you use the crunchy version of peanut butter while dropping the idea of using the creamy version.

While cutting the bars at the end, the knife may damage the layers due to the compression. Pick a sharp& warm knife while cutting the bars to have smooth cuts.

If you want to enhance the flavor of your bars 10 times more, then include a few drops of vanilla essence or salt (a pinch).

STORAGE INFORMATION:

Pack your snicker bars in a sealed vessel. Keep that vessel on your bedside at normal temperature. Enjoy the snicker bars in the locked container without the fridge for 3/4 days.

FRIDGE:
