Deep Dish Keto Meat Lasagna

Deep Dish Keto Meat Lasagna. This Easy Keto Meat Lasagna will surely satisfy your entire family and also satisfy your love for lasagna! Tastes better than the “real thing”!

Ingredients

Sauce

  • 1 14.5 ounce can Rotel
  • 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 3/4 cup – 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ONE teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Himalayan Sea Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Noodles

  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 ounces cream cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

The Rest

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese, divided

Instructions

Sauce

  1. To a food processor, add tomato paste, tomato sauce and Rotel. To get rid of chunks, blend for FIFTEEN seconds.
  2. To a medium sauce pan, add pepper, water, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and tomato mixture.
  3. Mix well and for 15-20 minutes, simmer.
  4. When done, put it aside.

Noodles

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and with parchment paper, line 2 baking sheets(13×9) .
  2. In a microwave safe bowl, melt Mozzarella cheese and cream cheese.
  3. Add Italian seasoning and eggs in a small bowl. Beat with a fork.
  4. To cheese mixture, add egg mixture.
  5. Continually squish the dough between your fingers with CLEAN hands until it gets WELL blended.
  6. Into TWO equal parts, split dough.
  7. Spread mixture out to approximately 12×8 on each prepared baking sheet. Meaning, to the edges, you don’t need to go all the way.
  8. Until it gets lightly golden brown, bake for 25-30 minutes.
  9. For about TEN minute, let cool and then into 8×8 and 8×4 chunks, cut each sheet. So around the 4 inch mark, you’ll just make one cut making the 2 perfect size sheets. When it is time to put it in the baking dish, you may end up trimming the edges. I always do!
  10. When done, put it aside.

Meat Mixture

  1. Combine the onion powder, ground sausage, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and ground beef in a large pan. Until meat is fully cooked, cook over medium-high heat.
  2. Drain excess grease and to the pan with meat, add 2 cups(not the whole batch) of marinara sauce. Lower the heat and for TEN minutes, simmer .
  3. Save the remaining sauce.

Putting it all together

  1. With Avocado oil or olive oil, spray a deep dish 8×8 baking dish.
  2. In the dish, place the first noodle. Use one of the larger pieces(8×8).
  3. Add 1/3 cup ricotta cheese on top of the noodle layer and spread evenly.
  4. Then Followed by 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese, layer 1/3 of the meat sauce.
  5. Next that are 8×4 side by side, place the 2 noodles and repeat the (noodle, ricotta, meat layer, Mozzarella)exact layers.
  6. Finally place the meat sauce, add ricotta and remaining noodle.
  7. On top of meat layer, add remaining sauce.
  8. Finally top with last of Mozzarella cheese(1/2 cup).
  9. Sprinkle with oregano.
  10. For TWENTY minutes, bake at 350, then bake for TEN more minutes, raise temperature to 375.
  11. For a few minutes, let sit before serving.
