The other best thing is that they are prepared in the air fryer and made with less oil. They just contain 1g of carb, 0.1g of fiber, 1g of net carbs, and 20g of proteins in them making them rich in protein chicken patties.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. coconut aminos or tamari

GROUND CHICKEN

  • I prefer to use lean ground chicken since there is no chance of it drying out because we will be adding olive oil to the mixture. Naturally, fatter cutbacks will also be effective.

SEASONING:

  • Pepper, salt, smoked paprika, and garlic powder is use to season the chicken patties.
  • We can also use fresh garlic instead of garlic powder.

OLIVE OIL:

  • Olive oil helps to form the chicken patties, and also helps them to get brown color. Additionally, you may use any neutral oil of which is keto-friendly as well.

COCONUT AMINOS:

  • Coconut aminos is utilized in these chicken patties, you can also use tamari.

INSTRUCTIONS:

MAKE THE CHICKEN PATTIES MIXTURE:

  • In a bowl (mixing), combine all the ingredients and well mix.

Form the seasoned grounded chicken into four patties which are equal in size by using lightly moistened hands.

FRY THE CHICKEN PATTIES

After putting the chicken patties in a basket that has been oiled, air fried them for 12 minutes at 180°C (350°F), turning them over halfway through.

REST AND SERVE THE PATTIES

Before assembling and serving, let the patties rest for five minutes.

TIPS:

  • When the internal temperature reaches 160ºF on a meat thermometer, you know they are done air-frying and perfectly cooked. They will reach a safe temperature of 165ºF while they are at rest.
  • Ensures that the patties in the basket are not touching or overlapping. If your basket is tiny, you might have to put patties in batches in basket.
    As an alternative to ground chicken, you may also use ground pig or turkey in this recipe.
  • Tailor the taste
  • Use a taco seasoning mix, Italian, Cajun, or garlic herb in place of the ingredients listed on the recipe card.

SERVING SUGGESTION:

  • You can serve these chicken patties by making the chicken burger with keto-friendly hamburger buns and keto –friendly spicy mayo, hot honey sauce, ketchup, or BBQ sauce.
  • If you want to have a lighter meal, chop these chicken patties and put in your salad bowl.
