INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 large head of broccoli
  • 2 cups kale
  • ½ cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Half cup grated
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Two tbsp. butter
  • One cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 pieces garlic
  • ½ tsp. dried oregano
  • ¼ tsp. dried basil
  • ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley

INSTRUCTION:

PREPARATION:

  1. Warm up the oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Then prep all the vegetables by washing and cutting them.

SAUTE THE VEGETABLE:

  1. Take out the large skillet on the heat.
  2. Add the butter to the skillet.
  3. Then add the onions in the skillet & cook the onions for four/five mins.
  4. Put the crushed garlic in the skillet.
  5. Sauté the garlic till we get a nice smell from it.
  6. Include the kale in the skillet.
  7. Cook it till it gets soft for like three to four minutes.
  8. Then we can add the broccoli florets to the skillet.
  9. Mix them with the spatula so that it will get properly coated with the butter.
  10. Put the skillet away from the heat.

MAKE THE CREAMY SAUCE:

  1. Take a mixing bowl & pour the heavy cream and cream cheese.
  2. Beat them till they get a smooth consistency.
  3. Add the black pepper, salt, parmesan &cheddar cheese, oregano, and basil in the bowl.
  4. Mix them with the whisk till they get fully incorporated.
  5. Grab a large mixing bowl and add the cream cheese mixture, sautéed broccoli, kale, slices of tomatoes.
  6. Mix all of them so that they get coated properly.

BAKE & SERVE:

  1. Apply the oil to the baking dish with the brush.
  2. Then transfer the cream cheese & vegetable mixture in the dish.
  3. Garnish the dish with more cheese on the top.
  4. Bake the dish for 20/25 mins till the sauce starts to get bubbling & it gets a nice golden brown color.
  5. When the broccoli is baked then take it out.
  6. Garnish it with the freshly chopped parsley.
