  • Half a cup of parmesan cheese, grated.
  • 1/2 tablespoon of salt.
  • A tbsp of juice of lemon.
  • 113 g of chicken breast (boneless & skinless)
  • Black pepper, 1/2 tsp.
  • A teaspoon of Italian seasoning.
  • Oil of olives, 2 tbsp.
  • Half a cup of chicken broth (low salt)
  • 4 cloves of minced garlic.
  • A cup of heavy cream.

INGREDIENT NOTES:

CHEESE:
Buy the grated cheese if you have less time. Romano or asiago cheese is also used as they are hard ones.

CHICKEN:
The recipe uses the breast of chicken. It will taste best if you use tenderloins or thighs of chicken.

CHICKEN BROTH:
We use it here as a thinner sauce in place of water. Besides, it adds flavor as well. Use prepared chicken broth bought from the market.

GARLIC:
Always try to use fresh garlic by mincing it.

ITALIAN SEASONING:
Use Italian seasoning to add a unique boost of flavor. Use either store-bought or homemade. It’s up to your choice.

LEMON JUICE:
Adding the juice of fresh lemon adds a boost to the flavor.

HEAVY CREAM:
The addition of heavy cream adds a silky texture to the lemon parmesan sauce (fancy)

INSTRUCTION:

  1. Grab a kitchen towel and pat dry the breast pieces of chicken.
  2. Apply pepper powder & salt to both sides of the breast pieces.
  3. Place a pan on flame.
  4. Adjust the flame to normal height.
  5. Give 4 or 5 minutes to cook one side of the breast pieces of chicken.
  6. Then flip and give the same time to the other side.
  7. Remove the chicken when both sides become golden brown.
  8. The temperature should be 160 F when we check using the meat thermometer.
  9. Add garlic to the same pan.
  10. Set the flame to low and cook the minced garlic till it becomes fragrant & golden brown.
  11. Then add chicken broth, cream, and Italian seasoning.
  12. When it starts to boil, add parmesan cheese.
  13. Cook while stirring till cheese melts & mix with sauce well.
  14. Now, add juice of lemon.
  15. At this point, add cooked chicken and cook it for 100 or 120 seconds.
  16. The sauce becomes thick and coats the chicken well.

STORAGE INFORMATION:

 

FREEZER:
We usually don’t recommend to freeze any dish with this type of sauce. As the sauce would not give a nice look & texture after defrosting.

FRIDGE:
Place the cooked creamy chicken in a locked bowl and use the fridge to store it for 3 days.

Reheat it in the microwave or pan till warm.
