Keto Ranch steak on the grill is a delectable and tantalizing entrée. You’d never believe how juicy and tender this inexpensive cut is! They are among the most popular proteins to prepare since they are filling and substantial, and when prepared properly, they have an unparalleled flavor. A cut from the cow’s shoulder, near the ribs, ranch steak is also known as shoulder steak or chuck steak. It is typically thick, boneless, and well-marbled, making it ideal for pan-searing or high-heat grilling. I don’t need to overdo marinades or ornate seasonings because the cut is so tasty.
Grilling steaks perfectly is ideal for melting fat and producing soft, juicy steaks. Keto Ranch steak contains only 1g of net carbs and 33g of protein.

SERVING SUGGESTION:
- Serve the ranch steak with traditional steakhouse sides like grilled or roasted veggies (such as carrots, asparagus, or green beans), mashed cauliflower, and a side salad dressed with zesty vinaigrette.
- For extra taste, try serving ranch steak with an opulent sauce such as creamy peppercorn sauce, chimichurri, or garlic butter.
- Serve the grilled ranch steak finely sliced on a toasted bun with a spread like mayonnaise or mustard, sautéed onions, cheese (cheese, provolone, or Swiss works great), lettuce, and tomato. Serve with sweet potato fries or crispy fries on the side.
- After slicing the ranch steak, arrange it over a salad of mixed greens. Add the red onions, avocado, roasted veggies, and crumbled blue cheese. Utilize balsamic vinaigrette or your preferred salad dressing to dress.
TIPS:
- The steaks should be brought to ambient temperature so they cook faster and more evenly.
- Utilize paper towels to pat dry. As a result, the flavors remain and the outside becomes crispy.
- Just one flip. Continue to sear the steaks till a crust forms on the bottom. The steaks should then be turned over to sear the other side. The steak won’t brown if you flip it too frequently.
- Let the steaks marinate. A quick marinade wouldn’t harm, but I didn’t think it was essential! My three-ingredient steak marinade is what I recommend.
- To ensure your steaks are cooked to your preferred doneness, use this time and temperature guide:
- Rare: Three to five mints at 125°F
- Medium rare: Five to six mints at 135°F
- Normal: Six to seven mints at 145°F
- Medium well: Seven to eight mints at 150°F
- Well done: Eight to ten mints at 160°F
- When they are about five degrees from the doneness you want, remove them from the grill. While they’re sleeping, they’ll continue to cook for a little while longer and should be at the ideal temperature.
STORAGE INFORMATION:
FRIDGE:
- Keep any remaining chilled steak in the fridge for three to four days in the sealed box.
FREEZER:
- For two to three months, store any leftover steak in a zip-lock bag or container.
REHEAT:
- Heat leftovers in a baking dish in an oven set to two-fifty degrees F or till the inner temperature reaches one-one-ten degrees. As an alternative, reheat them in a covered pan over medium heat.
