This pasta is prepared in thirty minutes, perfect for a quick vegetarian dinner. We can easily store this pasta for some time, so we can easily prepare it for meal prep. INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 cups Sungold cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 medium cloves garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces whole-wheat spaghetti
  • ¼ cup cold unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves

INGREDIENT NOTES:

SUNGOLD CHERRY TOMATOES:

  • We have to utilize the Sungold cherry tomatoes to make this dish. They have a sweet taste naturally and are juicy as well.

OLIVE OIL:

  • Add the olive oil to cook the garlic & tomatoes. It will add a slight flavor to the pasta & help to make a smooth base for sauce.

GARLIC:

  • Utilize the crushed garlic cloves to add an indulgent & savory flavor to the olive oil & tomatoes. Cook the garlic softly so it becomes aromatic and doesn’t get burned.

SALT:

  • Utilize a small amount of salt to improve the sweet taste of the tomatoes & stabilize the flavors of the pasta & Parmesan.

WHOLE-WHEAT SPAGHETTI:

  • We have to use cold unsalted butter to make the rich & smooth sauce. Add the cubed butter in the end so it melts slowly & blends with the tomato juices & pasta water.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Boil the big pot of salt water, then cook the spaghetti in it as mentioned.
  2. Now save one cup of pasta water, then drain the remaining and place it in the corner.
  3. Add the olive oil to the pan and warm it on the moderate flame.
  4. Include garlic & cook for 1 minute till we get nice aroma.
  5. Add the salt and cherry tomatoes, and cook for eight to ten minutes by mixing them till they get soft.
  6. Then slow the flame and include the cooked spaghetti in the pan.
  7. Add the cold butter cubes and mix the pasta till it melts and coats the spaghetti.
  8. Add the parmesan cheese and water gradually as required and mix till the sauce becomes smooth and shiny.
  9. Cook the dish for one to two more minutes, then put it on the shelf.
  10. Put the pasta in the serving dishes equally and sprinkle the extra cheese & basil on top & serve.
