INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 small russet potato
  • 1 slice bacon

RUSSET POTATO:

  • Include the russet potatoes to add the satisfying foundation and softness. Scrub the potatoes properly and leave the skin to offer texture, and make the pieces small and equal in size to cook them equally.

BACON:

  • Add the bacon to the dish to provide smokiness and a savory taste in the pan. We have to chop it into small pieces so it cooks evenly and spreads its taste in the dish.

OLIVE OIL:

  • Include the oil to fry the vegetables & it will also provide smoothness and healthy fat content.

BABY SPINACH:

  • Add the baby spinach to the dish to include the nice green hue & softness in the dish. It wilts quickly, so add the spinach after the potatoes get soft.

SALT:

  • Include the salt to enrich the natural taste of the ingredients. We have to use it in small quantities, as the cheddar & bacon will already be salty.

EGGS:

  • Add the eggs to include the protein, and it will make the dish more filling. Add the eggs and cook until it cooks as you desire.

CHEDDAR CHEESE:

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Scrub the russet potatoes, then cut them into equal, even-sized dice and leave the skin on, then chop the bacon into small pieces.
  2. Put the pan on a moderate flame and add the bacon, and cook for three to four minutes till they get crisp; then put it on a plate. Leave some bacon grease in the pan.
  3. Add the olive oil to the pan, then add the potatoes along with black pepper & salt, and cook for 12 to 15 minutes till the potatoes get soft & golden.
  4. Add the baby spinach to the dish and cook for one to two minutes till it wilts and mixes nicely.
  5. Now prepare two pits in the potato mix & add one egg in each one.
  6. Now cover the pan & cook for 3-5 minutes till they set.
  7. Add the cheddar cheese to the dish and sprinkle the cooked bacon on it.
  8. Then cover it & cook for 1-2 minutes till the cheese melts.
  9. Put the pan on the shelf and sprinkle the black pepper on it, then divide it into two portions and serve.
