  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup pork rinds or almond flour

  • ½ tsp. paprika
  • Salt and pepper
  • Avocado oil or coconut oil

TO MAKE THE CAULIFLOWER RICE:

  • One cauliflower
  • Two tablespoon olive oil or butter
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tbsp. coconut aminos
  • Salt and pepper

INGREDIENTS NOTES:

SHRIMP:

  • You have to use shed, and prepared shrimp for the nice quality. We can use the fresh shrimp but we can also use the frozen shrimp by completely thawing the shrimp. We can also pat dry the shrimp with a paper towel so that the seasoning will stick easily.

KETO CRUMBS:

  • We can use keto-friendly crumbs like pork rinds, almond flour, or keto bread crumbs to make it more crunchy and flavorful.

PARMESAN CHEESE:

  • We can use the parmesan cheese in this dish to make this dish more indulgent, cheesy, and flavorful. You may omit the parmesan cheese if you want to make a dairy-free dish.

CAULIFLOWER RICE:

  • We have to use a food processor to rice or grate fresh cauliflower for the best texture; we can also use store-bought cauliflower rice to save time.

COCONUT AMINOS:

  • We use the coconut aminos in place of soya sauce to make this dish keto-friendly; we can also use the tamari in place of coconut aminos.

AVOCADO OR OLIVE OIL:

  • We can choose avocado or coconut oil for frying because of their high smoke points and suitability for keto.

INSTRUCTION:

  1. We can grate the cauliflower with the grater or processor.
  2. Then we can warm up the olive oil on a moderate flame in the pan.
  3. We can put the garlic in the pan and toss the garlic for 30 sec or till we get a nice aroma.
  4. Then we can add the cauliflower rice, black pepper, coconut aminos, and salt to the pan.
  5. We can cook the cauliflower rice for 5 to 7 minutes by stirring it occasionally till it gets soft and tender.
