This Best Keto Bacon and Cheese Omelette is perfect if you’re looking for a breakfast idea. It’s tastes delicious and easy to make!
One of my favorite breakfasts is bacon and cheese omelette. It quick to make, it’s tastes amazing, and at home, I usually have all the ingredients already. You’ll need eggs, bacon, cheese, salt and pepper to prepare this tasty keto breakfast. Plus such as onion or tomato, any other additional ingredients that you want to include.
Both very ketogenic foods – for hours, they will keep hunger at bay – and the cheese will add even more fat. A great macro combination.
Why do you add heavy cream to the eggs?
Some would say to make them fluffier, that you should use a splash of water in your eggs, but when I’ve used water in the past, I have not had success.
My eggs are fluffier, every time that I have used heavy cream and it also adds more healthy fats to the recipe which within your daily macros, makes it’s easier to stay.
How many eggs go into an omelette?
I usually use 2 eggs per omelette as a rule of thumb. For this specific recipe, To give the omelette some extra volume and added healthy fats, I actually used 2 with a splash of heavy cream.
If you prefer a smaller breakfast, you can choose to use 2 or even 1 egg.
Are omelettes good for dieting?
If you are on a low carb or keto diet, it’s a great idea to have omelettes for breakfast. They taste delicious, they are very easy to make, and eggs are one of the lowest calorie foods out there.
What can I put in an omelette?
To your omelette, you can add basically anything. Spinach, mushrooms, and onion are some of my favorite add-ons.
